Injection Molding

PRe Plastics injection molds virtually all thermoplastic resins: ABS, Styrene, Polycarbonate, PET, Polypropylene, Polyethylene, Cycoloy®, Xenoy®, Valox®, TPEs, TPUs, Coolpoly®, etc.

We have the expertise to mold the material best suited for any plastic part. When standard, off-the-shelf materials lack a required property, our relationships with many resin and additive manufacturers enable us to work with the customer to find the best possible material for their application. Carbon-loaded resins, as well as heat-dissipating materials, are examples of materials found to perform a specific engineering purpose. PRe Plastics works extensively with thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) and thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPUs) for rubber replacement applications. We have also developed an array of custom formulations that have made innovative product ideas possible. Over-molding, insert molding and chemical bonding processes also produce quality products while eliminating costly secondary operations.

Our injection molding machines range in tonnage from 50 to 1012, providing significant shot size capacity, up to 184 oz. in weight, which can be used for a range of part sizes and multiple cavity tools. Electric machines and advanced material handling systems improve processing repeatability. Hot runner controllers and oil heaters permit the molding of complex hot runner systems and high heat materials.

PRe Plastics holds a State of California FDA “Device Manufacture License” and is a certified manufacturer of water filtration systems through Intertek.
